Glassblower Leigh Taylor Wyatt and her business partner Shara Funari have organized their Austin, Texas, company into two entities. One is their for-profit studio, East Side Glass, a venture into using a solar-powered furnace to support a budding glass community. The other is the nonprofit Community Glass House, an outreach to disadvantaged youth, cancer patients, battered women, and others who can use glass art to strengthen their own creative, healing powers.
