Marguerite Beneke, an artist who works in the remote Karoo semidesert area of South Africa, likes to combine figurative and abstract images using collage techniques to construct bigger pieces from smaller ones. She fuses float glass and achieves color mainly with enamels with only a sparing use of stained glass.
