Glass artists often need to think in new ways when building large-scale projects. At the beginning of each one, there’s some negotiation relative to time, money, and the size of the piece. Artists are able to make more money on production work, but many feel that those projects don’t feed their souls in the same way as their large, difficult, one-of-a-kind projects.
