Sometimes artists begin with a specific idea of exactly what they want to make or accomplish or express, but sometimes the direction is not so clear. It’s important, however, for artists to keep moving forward, trusting that the road will take them someplace that is at least interesting and hopefully even significant, meaningful, and fulfilling.
