The American Glass Guild (AGG) 2021 Virtual Conference served to pull the AGG glass community together. Keynote speaker Michael Janis shared the importance of public art. Attendees also received a wealth of information on the history and evolution of glass art from speakers Elllen Mandelbaum, Marie Pascale Foucault-Phipps, Laurie Povey Crawford, George Bryant, Shawn Waggoner, Art Femenella, and Amy Valuck. Information was also presented for AGG’s upcoming virtual classes and its July 2022 Conference at The Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York.
